Project Overview

Existing Conditions, Captured Once

A complete, measurable 3D model of a complex structure, available to every project team member without another site visit.

Complex buildings are hard to measure with conventional methods: irregular geometry, tight access, multi-level structures, things you can't easily get to. Reality capture handles this by producing a complete, navigable 3D model from a single visit.

Engineers, architects, and facility managers can all work from that model remotely, measuring, reviewing, and planning without having to schedule another trip to the building.

"Capturing the building once and making that data available to the entire team eliminates the inefficiency of multiple site visits for different disciplines."

Applications

  • Renovation design and construction planning
  • Facility management and maintenance planning
  • Historic preservation documentation
  • Remote design review by distributed teams
  • Construction verification and as-built records
What You Get

Why This Matters

Complete Geometry Complex features, irregular surfaces, and hard-to-reach areas, all captured in one visit with nothing left out.
Surveying Accuracy Licensed PLS background means the model holds up for engineering and legal documentation, not just visualization.
One Source of Truth Architects, engineers, and facilities teams all work from the same model. No conflicting measurements, no repeated site trips.
Permanent Record The model captures the building as it exists right now, useful for future renovations, insurance, and anything else that needs a historical baseline.
